Nothing can make you soar higher than to be on the receiving end of a child’s affection. The innocence of a baby’s smile. You smile, they smile. It’s just that simple.

I hung out with my newest little nieces this week while I was in Seattle for a conference. Meeting them for the first time, and they were the sweetest little girls. (I must have been a toddler whisperer because we survived a whole afternoon out on the town without a nap!) I don’t have children, but my nieces and nephews melt my heart all the same.
