As I wandered through the airport on recent travel, I came across a store called Frivolous. According to its tagline, the shop contains “wonderfully unnecessary” trinkets and gifts. It’s the kind of store that you can end up spending a good hour reading quotes on plaques, flipping through odd books, and admiring the most unique decor items. I saw a quote on this wooden plaque that stuck out to me, and I just had to take a picture of it.

Honestly, there isn’t much more to say about it. The plaque says it all.

“You are STRONG when you know your weaknesses. You are BEAUTIFUL when you appreciate your flaws. You are WISE when you learn from your mistakes.”

So, in the end, I guess I disagree with the name of the store. The Frivolous gift shop may be a lot of things, but to this traveler, it was anything but frivolous.
